I'm Usha Seshadri, currently an Associate Professor in Marketing at VIT-AP University, Amaravathi campus, Andhra Pradesh. My academic journey has been richly defined by experiences and milestones that have subtly shaped my approach to teaching, research, and mentorship. Among these, completing my Masters in International Management (Gold Medallist) and my Doctorate in Marketing from Pondicherry University were foundational steps. Further, qualifying for the UGC NET has enabled me to contribute more effectively to our vibrant academic community.

About Me

With interests spanning Research Methodology, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Behaviour, Retail Management, and Rural Marketing, I've spent over a dozen years weaving corporate insights with academic rigor. Beyond the classroom, I've engaged in convening significant events like the second International Conference on Digital Transformation and Business Sustainability and the third pan-India annual business plan competition, V-Launch Pad, fostering a platform for innovation and scholarly discussion.

In my role as the Technology Transfer Officer at the Innovations, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship Cell of VIT-AP University, I'm committed to bridging ideas and practical implementation, underscoring the importance of innovation in our rapidly evolving world. Moreover, guiding PhD students in digital marketing and sustainable marketing has been a fulfilling endeavor, allowing me to support the next generation of scholars in these critical areas.

The BookBuzz Club at VIT-AP University is a cherished initiative, reflecting my belief in the transformative power of reading and discussion. It's a space where we explore, question, and learn together, fostering a community of curious and engaged learners.

As I stand among you today, I'm reminded that our journey in academia is a collective endeavor.
